Senior Technology Trainer

The Senior Technology Trainer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for providing a variety of professional, high-level technology training to both lawyers and professional staff, and will work with both local and global teams to consult, plan, design and support training services to the local office. This role will be located in our Paris office.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance and training to end users for firm-approved applications in a variety of methods including classroom learning, webinars, remote sessions, one-to-one requests, etc.
• Consulting with attorneys and business services staff to understand process and workflow, and how Latham Technology can help
• Identifying training needs and ensuring requests from individuals are offered the correct resources
• Preparing training materials including handouts, follow-up notes, written documentation
• Coordinating and scheduling training sessions, including booking relevant spaces, ensuring audio/visual mediums are prepared, confirming and recording attendance
• Working with the Global Technology Training team to ensure a consistent level of training is being delivered firmwide, and assisting with software upgrades, implementations, and wider projects

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are passionate about training and upskilling others, and have confidence in delivering instructional presentations
• Have the ability to communicate with a range of seniorities and can deliver excellent customer service
• Work quickly and autonomously, yet are able to engage with and seek the contribution of stakeholders and peers on a regular basis

And have:

• Experience of training and/or teaching, ideally software, and working within a law firm, or wide professional services environments
• Knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (latest versions), document management systems, timekeeping software, and communications technologies (iManage, InTapp and Microsoft Teams, specifically, would be beneficial)
• An enjoyment for, and the flexibility to, travel to other offices as required
• Fluency in English and French is essential. Spanish and/or Italian language skills are highly desirable but not essential.
